While condemning the brutal killing of his party senior leader and former Peshawar district nazim Fahim-ur-Rehman, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Chairman Pervez Musharraf said on Thursday that the writ of the government was nowhere to be seen in the country. In a statement issued by the APML’s office on Thursday, he said that those who raised their voices for peace were murdered while terrorists were wandering free from Khyber to Karachi. He demanded that the government should quit forthwith, given its failure to protect people and restore law and order. Fahim-ur-Rehman, along with three cohorts, was gunned down in Peshawar some days ago while traveling in a car.
