President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a meeting of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Executive Committee on Monday (tomorrow) at the President’s House to discuss the current political scenario in the country. Officials of the President’s House said that Zardari, who is also the PPP’s co-chairman, summoned the meeting to discuss the ongoing political situation in the aftermath of Dr Arslan Iftikhar’s case. Officials further said that during the meeting, the opposition’s allegations that the government had hatched a conspiracy against the judiciary would also come under discussion and the party would devise its future strategy. Later on, President Asif Ali Zardari would host dinner for the members.
