Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior, Rehman Malik said on Wednesday that there had been no role of interior ministry or government in collecting evidence and recordings against Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry, son of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Malik said that he would quit politics if his role was proved in Malik Riaz and Arsalan issue.
While talking with media here he said that he had always respected the Supreme Court and would come if the court ordered to do so.
Malik said he would file for damages worth Rs3 billion against two TV anchors who had dragged his name into the Arsalan Iftikhar case.
He said that the tight security was provided to both, Malik Riaz and Arsalan Iftikhar.
Malik said that Arsalan Iftikhar would be sent to a safer place, as it is a sensitive issue and the government does not want any third force to take advantage of the situation.

  1. Who will believe this compulsive liar. He is incompetent but capable of doing to destroy Pakistan. Pity the nation who have people like him. Looking at him one wonders what his parent were thinking or doing when this creature was being conceived

  2. Please define Government role in general and interior minsitery role in specific. Is the role of both stake holder to keep in power?
