At least two persons were killed and two others injured as a result of a suicide attack on a vehicle at Bazeedkhel Chawk Badhabher Peshawar on Tuesday morning.
According to senior police official, former Nazim of Union Council Bazeedkhel Faheem Khan was target of the suicide attack. However, he was not present in the vehicle whereas killed and injured are stated his personal bodyguards and driver.
Superintendent Police Shafi Ullah Khan when contacted has said that suicide bomber has blown him when vehicle of Faheem Khan reached at Bazeedkhel Chawk. The explosion was so sever and it lead to destruction of the vehicle.
The police officer confirmed that two persons were killed on the spot and two other injured. The injured shifted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar whereas their conditions stated in danger.
Former Nazim Faheem Khan has recently reactivated Peace Lashkar in the area after holding a detail meeting with high ranking police officer. Faheem Khan survived in similar several attacks ion the last several years.
Soon after attack, security forces cordoned off the area.
