Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Mian Channu was killed and his dead body was burnt by unknown men.
Police has claimed to have arrested one of the killers.
According to the police Ex-DSP Attiq Butt had come to his farm located in his village in Mian Channu after which his family lost contact with him.
On certain information, the police searched the place and found his dead body buried in a pit.
After recognising the body, police arrested Attiq Butt’s servant Bahawal Sher and started investigations.
He was not ex-dsp He was on job from 28th may 2012. He was proved innocent by terminal court.
