A foolproof security strategy will be formulated with the help of jewelers’ association representatives and policemen, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Aslam Tareen said on Wednesday.
He was talking to a 30-member delegation of Anjuman-e-Tajran Ferozpur Road Jewelers Association led by Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Sarki.
Tareen said that Quick Response Force was being deployed for comprehensive security in the city along with activating local law and order committees. He asked the jewelers to install high quality CCTV cameras inside and outside their shops so that culprits could be traced effectively.
