Bilawal’s interview

After Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recent interview to CNN, I have little doubt that he is an accomplished politician. So far, we had heard of killing two birds with one stone, young Bilawal has tried to kill three with one.

About his mother’s assassination, he said that Al-Qaeda had ordered it, Taliban had carried it out, and Gen Mush had cooperated in the gruesome act by lowering her security. BB’s assassination was investigated not only by the Scotland Yard but also by the UN. When the Scotland Yard boys arrived with their hi-tech cameras round their necks, we thought the proverbial water and milk would separate. But no such thing happened because the Scotland Yard had a limited mandate to investigate.

Similarly, the UN devoured five millions of taxpayers’ money but failed to fix responsibility of the assassination on any individual or group conclusively. PPP has been in power since BB’s assassination but its members have only played politics over her murder and grave. However, young Bilawal has played a smart one by roping Al-Qaeda, Taliban, and Mush together. The first two are nebulous and volatile; the last one is a fugitive from law. It’s only Naheed Khan and hubby Abbasi who truly miss BB and look like orphans.
