A man, who had sustained serious injuries in a bus attack near Nawabshah city of Sindh on Friday, died in hospital as death toll from the firing incident has reached nine. Eight people were killed and many more wounded when unknown gunmen ambushed a passenger coach on National Highway near Qazi Ahmed locality of Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazir Abad). The bus was on its way from Karachi to Swabi town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Medics said the man, Amin, who was in his late 30s, succumbed to his injuries in Peoples Medical Hospital on Thursday, adding that another injured was under treatment in the hospital. Police said the man hailed from Rahim Yar Khan city of Punjab. Despite government’s claim that President Asif Ali Zardari has taken notice of the incident, sources said, no FIR of the case has been registered by the police. However, Badin police claims to have arrested four suspects in the bus attack from Golarchi area, allegedly associated with a nationalist organization.
