Presently, we are in that archetypal phase of antagonism, competition and rivalry where all these things are at its highest extent. The time shift is full of innovation and technology. You have to plan every single second to make your move as you are monitored very precisely by your competitors. These technological shifts have made very difficult for the new entrepreneurs to come up with something new as this is very risky for them and they have to be vigilant about the market budges. In this case an entrepreneur should not back-off or start following patterns instead he should take a bold initiative and defy those companies who are setting patterns for others to follow.
Due to this factor the countries will remain under the monopolistic approach of fraternities that may cause the new ideas to be vanished before they are even planted. iPod is one big example as it came from nowhere with its uniqueness and the innovation spread all over the world within few days and hence Apple became one of the world’s most famous brands.
Thanks to Steve Jobs who came up with such a wonderful idea. Entrepreneurs must seek a way to find the crack in the market and they have to fill it up with their own means, thoughts, skills, ideas and especially innovation. In the current era creative ideas are much appreciated by the people as they are always in search of convenience.
Entrepreneurs must not wait for the opportunity but they have to take challenges to compete the world around them so they could have a sense of contending and dominating others. They should be unique in their own way possibly not forgetting what others are doing even so focusing on the consistency of the approach they are adopting for the supremacy. Challenge always boosts you up and gives you the opportunity to learn something.
If you have to grow and compete in contemporary epoch then you must take on new challenges. Entrepreneurs have always been remembered because of the innovation but in Pakistan we see the number of entrepreneurs is not that much.
Our government should conduct such kind of programs in which the new entrants should be trained and guided after which they are skilled enough to take on the new challenges and make the name of this country and their selves. Universities should give special attention to the students who are willing to start their own businesses after the completion of their professional degrees. A program should be conducted each year for them so they could participate and learn the tricks and tools of the trade.
In this regard University of Central Punjab has taken a great initiative. A society has been introduced with the name of “IDEAS” and is currently working on the entrepreneurship. This is to encourage the new entrepreneurs who want to enter the market. UCP is currently working on a seminar specially conducted for the entrepreneurs inviting guests from different parts of Pakistan. These guests will share their views, challenges and experiences they faced to motivate and persuade the rising entrepreneurs.
