Police put their lives at risk for the security of citizens. Just like our military, they sacrifice their sleep and stay up at night to ensure the peace is maintained in the streets of Pakistan. Their life is always in danger and they are at the risk of losing their lives anytime because of their task of fighting the crime. Many of them even die during crime operations. But what do they and their family get for this hard work? Once they die, their family is in a mess as there is no breadwinner left in the home.
The government needs to ensure the families of martyred policemen get dues, so that their families are not doomed after their demise. This is the least the government can do for the invaluable service they render for their country.
