The Islamabad police is committed to inculcating friendly police ecology and eliminate activities of antisocial elements with the cooperation of citizens.
It was stated by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Amin Khan during a meeting with a delegation of traders from Blue Area and assured them of enhancing security measures at business centers through mutual cooperation, said a press release issued here. The delegation, headed by Blue Area Traders Organisation President Sheikh Abdul Saleem, included chairman of traders’ body, Ch Javed, Senior Vice President Tahir Qayyum, Information Secretary Zubair Kiani, Secretary Abdur Raheem and others. IGP Bani Amin Khan assured them of full cooperation for safe and conducive environment. He said that liaison of business as well as traders community with police will be enhanced and effective security ensured at trade centres.
The traders’ delegation asked the IGP for cooperation of police in installing security cameras at various plazas in Blue Area and boosting security measures.
The IGP assured full cooperation and guidance in installing these cameras.
The delegation appreciated Islamabad police for safe recovery of abducted owner of Mr Books and arrest of kidnappers. They thanked the IGP for special efforts of the force in ensuring friendly environment to investors.
Bani Amin Khan also listened to their various problems and assured them of immediately solving them.
