The Lahore police arrested a swindler for impersonating a secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister. The accused, Samiullah Nayyar, had telephoned the officers of various departments, including the police, education and agriculture for various purposes. The accused asked Seed Corporation Managing Director Altaf Azid Khan to transfer an officer deputed in Raheem Yar Khan. To which, the MD telephoned the CM secretariat for verification. The CM secretariat told the MD that no officer of the accused’s name is working in the cescretariat. The MD informed the Mozang police which arrested the accused. Nayyar is a resident of Vehari and works as a driver in Karachi.
