Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring mothers and celebrating motherhood, maternal bonds and the innuence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, but most commonly in March, April or May.
Mother’s Day holds great significance for all of us. But do we ever think what its purpose is? Is it meant to give significance to mothers merely for a day? Every child tries to celebrate this day in its own way. Even media tries to celebrate it like a festival. But where is the real sentiment? It seems that society has made Mother’s Day an event or a festival. This is wrong. We should care about our mothers the whole year. Many have begun to admit them in old-age homes.
It is mothers who nurture us and teach us how to love.
