The US continues to negotiate with Pakistan on re-opening of the crucial NATO supply routes to Afghanistan that were closed by Islamabad after a cross-border NATO air strike killed 24 of its soldiers last year, the State Department said Wednesday.
“We are continuing to work on these issues with the government of Pakistan. We would follow on the visit that ambassador Grossman had to Pakistan,” the State Department spokeswoman, Victoria Nuland, told reporters at her daily news conference.
“We’re still seeking to come to an arrangement on how we can get the GLOCs (ground line of communication) open. We think it’s important for us, it’s important for a peaceful, stable situation in Afghanistan, and it’s obviously that would be in Pakistan’s interest as well,” Nuland said responding to a question.

Maar Maar kar route khulega…you have to…

  2. It is in Pakistan's interest that NATO supply route is opened. Refusing to open the route will show that Pakistan has succumbed under the pressure of ultra rightest and the so called Jihadi forces and this perception will do more damage to Pakistan.
