Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Social Welfare, Sitara Ayaz has said that provincial government was taking all steps to facilitate the eunuchs and two percent quota in employments has been allocated for them as per the Supreme Court directives.
Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, Sitara Ayaz said that Chief Minister KP, Amir Haider Hoti has directed all the government departments for announcing 2% quota of eunuchs in advisements of employments.
The provincial minister said that the quota allocated for the eunuchs in employments have been announced in accordance with literacy rate in eunuchs. Sitara said that only 30 percent eunuchs of about total 350 eunuchs of KP were literate.
