Robbers loot Rs 1.4m from Shadbagh bank

Armed robbers badly injured two security guards of a private bank and looted more than Rs 1.4 million in cash during a robbery in Shadbagh police precincts on Thursday.
The Lahore Police held the bank administration responsible for the mishap.
The injured security guards were identified as Amjad and Ghulam Mustafa.
Per details, around six armed robbers forced their entry into Shadbagh Gol Bagh branch of Habib Bank.
The security guards tried to check the suspects but the robbers snatched weapons from the guards and subjected them to serious torture due to which they sustained serious injuries.
Meanwhile, four more armed accomplices of robbers forced their entry in the bank.
They took the staff of the bank and customers hostage and collected Rs 1,487,231 before escaping. A customer informed the local police of the incident after which a heavy contingent of police reached the scene under the supervision of senior cops.
