After being mired in hundreds of controversies, scandal queen Meera has taken a religious turn. She recently called a press conference in Karachi, where she announced her decision to perform Umrah. For the press conference, Meera shed her glamour-girl image and was witnessed holding a tasbih, with her head covered with a black shawl. During the conference, besides revealing her urge to perform Umrah, Meera also responded to Veena Malik’s allegation that Meera had hired a man to throw acid on Veena. Meera termed it a ‘defaming’ act, saying that Malik intended to bring her down. Meera also sang a few songs when asked about her love for singing and her upcoming music album.
