The management of Jinnah Hospital has moved a plea in the branch registry of the Supreme Court against the constant loadshedding in hospital. Chief Executive Dr Javed Akram in the application enumerated various problems faced by hospital and said that several critical operations were deferred due to the unscheduled power outages. Referring to the recent incident, he said that power outages had also sent a girl into coma due to power break down during the operation. The CE also mentioned that the administration had requested the PEPCO and LESCO several times in the past but to no avail. He prayed to the court to issue directive for exempting Jinnah Hospital from load shedding.
