The inaugural convention of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz AJK chapter was uprooted, forcing its chief Nawaz Sharif to leave the venue without addressing the rally. Nawaz Sharif faced the situation as he appeared to give his address. The dust storm uprooted tents, which compelled the audience to leave the venue. Earlier, in his few opening remarks of address, Sharif thanked the organisers, especially the newly-elected PML-N AJK President Raja Farooq Haider Khan for managing the first-ever public rally in AJK.
