Four inmates that were arrested by the Koral police on the allegation of car thefts and a three-day physical remand from the court of law was obtained for further investigation, escaped after breaking the lockup of Koral police station in the wee hours of Friday. Police have registered a case against five police officials for their negligence, alleging that they helped the prisoners in their escape.
It is developments like these which lead to the defamation of police. Higher officials need to take a strict note of this.
