Police on Monday arrested two of their colleagues in Lahore for allegedly kidnapping and raping two women in a house.
According to Police officials, the suspects were held from a house in Iqbal Town area following a phone call received at 15 Helpline that two women were being subjected to sexual abuse in a house.
“The police raided the house and recovered two girls, arresting a man Rana Shehzad who was identified as a police Sub-Inspector,” an official said and adding that one of his cronies managed to flee.
During the investigation, the girls disclosed that they were shopping at city’s Moon Market in Iqbal Town when two policemen kidnapped them on gunpoint and subsequently subjected to sexual abuse. Police have registered FIR of the crime against the accused.
