This is with reference to the sudden blackout of media coverage to the two recent rallies that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has made consecutively in Sialkot and Mianwali. I am surprised to see that none of the two is getting such media coverage that it used to in the past.
Is it because that Pasha was backing media channels before or is it because that now media is fed up of PTI and its huge rallies every now and then or is it the result of Punjab government’s recent awarding of the advertisements to different media groups?
As, what little glimpses were seen, can tell that both the rallies have set new records of public participation but no serious coverage by the media channels raises questions in the mind of a layman.
