The electricity shortfall increased to 5,500MW, about 40 percent of the estimated peak demand of 13,500 MW, resulting in an average loadshedding of 11 hours across the country. Loadshedding of up to 16 hours was reported in rural areas to keep the duration of power breakdowns limited to 6-8 hours in major cities. Energy crisis persists due to water shortage and gas loadshedding. This energy crisis at the beginning of the summer season is a matter of concern.
I suggest some measures for overcoming the energy crisis. Firstly, all IPPs in the country which are not properly working should be put in order.
Secondly, IRSA should go to World Bank if India does not act upon the Indus Water Treaty. Thirdly, the government should put a ban on use of CNG in vehicles. Fourthly, the government should hire electricity from Iran and China for minimising the electricity crisis.

Please tell us something new.
I appreciate your thoughts but nothing can be done without implementation. This is known, if our government would work over it then we can overcome it but funnily, nobody ponders over it.
Do you think energy crisis will solve by putting a ban on use of CNG in vehicles…???
There is no power crises but the theif govt of pakistan created it
