Advice for Khadam-e-Aala

I request the Khadam-e-Aala that he should stop sloganeering as slogans are not the solution to the problems faced by the people. His slogan of “Go, Zardari Go” was not supported by his own party PML(N) because its representatives in the national and Punjab assemblies have not resigned and opted for long march against the federal government. About your slogan to hold accountable Ali Baba and 40 Thieves for plundering the national wealth; those who live in glass houses should not throw stones on others. The slogan of fighting against corruption has no appeal to the general public. A large number of people are attending PTI rallies because its agenda to eradicate corruption in 90 days has good impact on people because they trust Imran Khan being an honest person.

Please stop wasting public money on distribution of laptops to the young students. They will not vote for the PML(N) in the next election. You spent taxpayers’ money on installing cameras at police stations to monitor police torturing the people but don’t you know many are still killed in their custody. Instead of depending on federal government to providing electricity and gas to the public and industries, the Punjab government should take initiative and provide incentive to the private sector for power generation projects. The sugar mills in Punjab, of which seven are owned by your family, can produce 1000 MW to overcome power outages in Punjab.

Kindly stop going from one place to another with a security of dozens vehicles. At present, 50 percent people in Punjab are living blew the poverty line and the low-income working class is facing difficulties due to the over 200 percent increase in the essential food items. Lastly, hold local government elections to really empower the ordinary people at gross root level. There cannot be just distribution of recourses without the functioning of the local government. With dependence on bureaucracy to rule, the gulf between the poor and rich cannot be bridged.
