The star all-rounder Shahid Afridi, who returned from Dhaka on Friday after winning Asia Cup, has apologized from his overwhelming fans over his outrageous attitude at Karachi airport.
Afridi told on Saturday that he could not control his temper when the cheering crowd almost crushed his three-year-old daughter who was waiting to welcome him with flowers.
Earlier on Friday night, the great “Boom Boom Shahid Afridi” punched a fan in the face who was only begging him for an autograph.
Reportedly, Afridi, who was coming out of the airport after arriving here from Bangladesh, flew off the handle, after cohorts thronged him for autographs.
It seemed he was not happy with this fan following and was seen almost running out of the airport with a swarm of his admirers in tow.
After repeated gestures of annoyance, which failed to deter the crowd, he swung a mighty right hand at one of the buffs knocking him out then and there, which proved he could be a “Bang Bang Boxer Afridi” as well.
Later talking to private TV channel, Shahid Afridi’s brother said that Afridi lost temper when the crowd almost trampled his (Afridi’s) daughter.
He said that the reckless fans did not ever care about the three-year old girl, who could have been seriously injured in this stampede like situation.

There is no need for apology,Pakistanis needs to learn how to be a civilized and disciplined nation,there is difference between Human and Animals.Just look at the way people in Pakistan ride buses,trains etc,there is no concept of forming QS in Pakistan for anything,I think people should be educated at primary school level to learn how wait for their turns at the airports,stores etc.
Just a lame excuse …. some ppl say his daughter was near by car where u can see he was mad inside the airport lol so why blame em for something which didn't even exist at that point ??? If his daughter was by car then why he punched that guy way before the car and why he was mad from inside…… If he becomes so famous then its all these fans (people of pakistan) who made him this famous … anyways personally i didn't like it 🙂
