Boom Bust Afridi?

After much furore, Shahid Afridi was called back to national cricket team by PCB. This decision did not do any good to the cricket team. The player totally proved extra burden for already struggling team. His performance in the Asia Cup matches has cast a shadow of doubts about his form and fitness as a batsman as well as bowler.

He poorly performed in the match against India, the arch-rival of Pakistan in cricket. His shoddy performance tormented Pakistani team. He could not blast in the final overs of match. Low scoring clubbed with ordinary bowling spell helped India accomplish her record victory against Pakistan. His Boom Boom “Aura” has gradually vanished. Scoring just 7000 thousand runs in three hundred plus matches speaks volumes of his batting performance. To cut short, it can be inferred from the above that time has come that Afridi should now bid farewell to cricket.
