MQM rejoices after Col Akbar’s statement

Activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) rejoiced after the statement given by Colonel (Retd) Akbar, saying Altaf Hussain refused to take bribe from Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Colonel (Retd) Akbar talking to a private TV channel said that the money was offered to MQM chief Altaf Hussain but the latter refused to take it.
After listening to the statement of Colonel Akbar, activists of the MQM rushed to MQM Punjab office and started dancing and distributed sweets. They were holding flags of the party and shouted slogans.
The MQM on Thursday had rejected allegations that its chief Altaf Hussain had received money from the country’s prime spy agency in the late 1980s and said the party leadership had a clean record and clear conscience and was ready to defend itself at every forum.
In a statement, an MQM spokesman had said the government agencies had made numerous attempts to purchase Altaf Hussain’s loyalty and in 1988 Brigadier Imtiaz of the ISI had brought money for him from Gen Hamid Gul, but he faced refusal. This was acknowledged by Brigadier Imtiaz some time ago in media
interviews.

  2. Yes they didnt need that money they were rather looking at a sound mechanism to get money and Mashallah they have been doing good . That mechanism is called as ” Bhatta” today and they are making hell of a money

We must see correct, evident, transparent clear things which are being shown in Media, and we must stop put mere allegations on any party, people of Pakistan are behind MQM right now, so such false, frivolous, and unwarrented claims & allegations cannot change the minds & hearts of the followers of MQM.   11. All this is being owned by MQM not by an Individual and run by the thousands of workers’ funds who pay from thier pocket and borne all the expenses themselves. This is how a vast majority of Middle Class & lower Middle Class people from all the ranks & walks of life of Pakistan & all over the World admire MQM for its ideology & thoughts of Realism & Practilism, we must talk of the things that are proved to the hilt as true. We must be least interested in the baseless things have no footings & sanctity.

  15. Well No one can change the system withuot getting into it, therefore, it is necessary to break into the system and do what can be done in limited resources. People of Pakistan elects the representatives who are being nominated by the Movement selected from the working class, highly qaulified, educated, & talented youngsters, get in to the parliament at raise thier voices for the problems in favour of thier voters & supporters and also provide rational solutions which are doable. There has to be a revolutionery change In the Political system of Pakistan & people from all parts of the Country msut come out “now or never” for the solution of their grievances.

  16. @Haroon Rasheed Abbasi: By the way, those MQM activists never pay from their own pocket, they used to have snatching, street crimes and Bhatta collection from the innocent Karachiets…!! and then deposit the UNIT / SECTOR share accordingly…!!

    If karachiite can feed the whole nation from their taxes why can’t they afford a mansion in London for their leader ….
