In pursuance of Supreme Court orders, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif Thursday issued directives to hire the services of eunuchs in connection with recovery of outstanding loans.
Chief Minister Punjab directed Managing Director (MD) Punjab Small Industries to hire services of 5 eunuchs from each district of the province who would accompany police of the respective district during recovery campaign of the loans.
The eunuchs would be given commission against recovery of loans and would be provided loans on easy terms to run their business.
Confirming the reports of issuance of these directives from Chief Minister Punjab, Deputy Director Punjab Small Industries Ghulam Hussain Nizami told Online he had held a meeting with Shabaz Abbas alias Shani, president of Association of Eunuchs for South Punjab and given briefing to him in this regard.
Shahbaz alias Shani said he appreciated the directives of Supreme Court and Shahbaz Sharif adding he would discharge this obligation in befitting manner.
