A bench of Supreme Court took suo motu notice of the incident on an application filed by Anita Turab, an officer of the District Management Group. The PPP candidate Syeda Waheeda Shah assaulted the said officer at a polling station during the recent by-election in Tando Muhammad Khan. Although this is a deplorable act, the innocent people are being murdered on daily basis. A common man may ask how many suo motu actions were taken by judiciary on target killing in the Sindh province.
