With the 2014 approaching fast, it is becoming increasingly clear that the US wants to not only leave from here but also save its face from the humiliation of not being able to hunt down Al-Qaeda and Taliban altogether.
One of the tricks it has resorted to in order to save itself, is to blame Pakistan for all of its failures. The US now considers Pakistan not only a frontline state in the war against terror but also the frontline state to clean up their mess.
