PTI once again boycotted the by-polls. Not only the voters’ turnout defied the usual low pattern in by-polls, the boycott provided the PPP and PML(N) an opportunity to shape strategies for the coming general elections. PTI could have contested the elections for two seats which were vacated by Javed Hashmi and Shah Mehmood Qureshi. If PTI has no confidence in winning these two seats, how will PTI win the coming general elections? This is a matter of concern for the PTI. Its tall claims have gone in vain. The reality is that the PTI is ceding ground to others.
