Since the birth of our beloved country, Pakistan, we have witnessed different kind of government systems. The most popular slogan is democracy. Abraham Lincoln once said that democracy is a ‘government of the people, by the people, for the people. But here in Pakistan, we have converted this slogan to ‘government through the people, by(pass) the people and for the (family) people.
First time in Pakistan’s history, four members from a single house have become member of the parliament, only because of democracy that is flourishing day by day in Pakistan. No one in the PPP could dare object this decision of the party high-ups.
The conclusion: We never had a democracy in Pakistan, the only governing system we had/have is dictatorship, with or without boots.
