My daughter is a student at the Government Girls College Muzaffargarh. She tells me that the atmosphere there is perfect in all respects except only that it has been vitiated by the presence of some outsider men who reside with a lady lecturer on the college compound. One, a police inspector, is the husband of this lady.
He passes several times a day right through the crowd of girl students inside the college. The others, her grown-up nephews, are often seen playing cricket in the plot right in the middle of girl’s hostel. Their behaviour is highly disturbing too. The principal was approached for the solution of this problem but she said that despite her several warning letters and finally orders to vacate her residence, the lady teacher remained unmoved and insubordinate.
On the contrary, this lady teacher, in conjunction with her inspector-husband, has even entered in collusion with some higher education authorities in Lahore and threatened the principal with removal from her post. The Chief Minister, Mr Shahbaz Sharif, is requested to order transfer of the errant lady lecturer from Government College Muzaffargarh to rectify this disturbing situation.
