A group art exhibition was organised by Milestone Foundation at Alhamra Art council, on Friday, where 65 students from different artistic backgrounds showcased their pieces. Art pieces of calligraphy, painting, photography, sketching and other forms of art work were present in the exhibition. Milestone Foundation which is an NGO gave a unified platform to young artists. The chief guest at this occasion was Zakria Shahnawaz Khan Niazi, who lauded the efforts of the NGO to encourage aspiring artists.
“The work of youngsters is commendable, MF has done a great job in promoting the work of fresh artists”, she said. MF Chairperson Saima Nawaz, said that 65 students belonging from different art institutions were given the opportunity of presenting their work and added that Pakistan was a country full of talented youngsters and the work of the artists made it evident. She said that the exhibition was getting a great response and that many pieces had already been sold.
