The leaders of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) have warned of sit-ins across the country if NATO supply line was restored.
During a sit-in staged by DPC here, the leaders said not only would there be country-wide sit-ins but NATO containers would also be stopped at every point on their transport route from Karachi to Chaman.
On the other hand, Amir Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawar Hassan today announced that an All Parties Conference (APC) would be convened on Balochistan issue on February 27 in Quetta.
The DPC leaders asserted: “The US cannot hold Pakistan hostage and that the rulers’ leaning on the US is against the wishes and aspirations of the people.”
They said the ever increasing aggravating issues of price hike, unemployment and loadshedding had turned the people into psychological patients.
The demanded that the issue of missing persons be resolved and expressed strong condemnation over the resolution in US house of representatives on Balochistan.
A large number of Pakistani people took to the streets in Islamabad to take part in an anti-US demonstration organised by a coalition of 40 parties.
Banners were strung up in a bustling commercial area of Islamabad denouncing US drone strikes, the government’s decision to grant India most favoured nation status in a bid to ease trade, and re-opening the Afghan border to NATO convoys.
DPC is doing a great job. Public should come out to support it. All supplies to NATO should completely stop – for ever!!!

DPC should let pakistan move on and give respite to starving unemployed people by providing stability to the system. Jihad is a redundant concept plzzzzzzzzzz let pakistan develop.
