More scattered rain is expected in Lahore after a sunny Sunday, weather experts have said. The met office said the city would undergo a fresh spell of scattered rain as westerly waves had entered in the country, adding that the spell would remain for two more days and the city would be in the grip of cold winds. Meanwhile the weather on Thursday remained cold and dry. The highest recorded temperature was 6C and the lowest was 4C. Shallow westerly trough is affecting northwest Balochistan and is likely to produce isolated rain/snow over there. A fresh westerly wave is likely to approach on Sunday that will generate scattered rain in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Balochistan, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. This weather system is likely to persist for three days.
