Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Abdul Jabbar Shaheen has directed the officials concerned to take stern action against unauthorised industrial activities being carried out by illegally established units in residential areas, private housing schemes and notified controlled areas of LDA. He has directed all the estate management directors as well as the chief town planner and chief metropolitan planner to immediately carry out surveys of all the housing schemes under the LDA’s control, and to take legal action against those violating this regulation.
