The government is finalising a plan to place a cut of Rs 60 billion in federal component of Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) due to financial crunch in current fiscal year 2011-12. Talking to Online, Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr Nadeem-ul-Haq said no cut had been taken place in the development projects so far. Sources familiar with the development told that planning commission was preparing a summary to forward it to the prime minister for seeking his approval to cut Rs 60 billion in federal component of development projects due to financial crisis.
