Chief of his own faction of JUI, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that several governments in the past were finished due to corruption, which is still prevailing in the country.
Addressing a public meeting here on Tuesday, he said, until getting rid of the corruption, it was impossible to stable the economy. He added that without eradicating corruption, neither the resources of the country could be reorganised nor the destination of poor would be changed.
“If JUI-F would have not been present in the parliament, the entire system would have been secular, He said and added that respect, dignity and good values were being vanished away from the national politics of Pakistan.
“We call ourselves an independent nation but, as a matter of fact, we are not. We only switched over from the British slavery to American supremacy. Our fiscal and foreign policies are controlled by USA,” he added. He said that Pakistan offered 40,000 lives due to terrorism during last decade.
