10 outlaws arrested; hashish, weapons recovered

The city police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 10 persons from various areas of the city for their alleged involvement in theft, drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons, and recovered looted items from their possession. ASI Muhammad Ashfaq from Sihala police arrested a thief Ameen and recovered stolen items worth Rs 38,000 from him while ASI Sarfaraz Ahmed from Bhara Kahu police arrested another thief Shehzad and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 15,000 from his possession. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Hussain from Bhara Kahu police nabbed a drug pusher Sajid during routine patrolling for possessing one kilogram hashish. Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar from Margallah police recovered one Kalashnikov and one gun from accused Mujahid Ahmed and Asif. ASI Abdul Hafeez from CIA police arrested Raja Asif Hussain for possessing two 30 bore pistols while ASI Tariq Rauf apprehended Ghulam Muhammad and Awal Gul for possessing two pistols. Sabzi Mandi police arrested two persons – Abdul Rehman, Mukhtar and recovered 830 gram hashish and two 30 bore pistols from them.
