Former Industrial Area SHO Rana Muhammad Akram who was removed from his post on corruption charges has been demoted from the post of inspector to sub inspector. A source in the inspector general of police (IGP) office disclosed that Inspector Rana Akram who had been removed from the slot of SHO Industrial Area for his alleged involvement in corruption has been demoted as the charges levelled against him have been established. The source said that the IGP had demoted the inspector to the post of sub inspector.
