A man charged with being the brains of the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine and Seaview bomb blasts pleads guilty in court on Monday. The Crime Investigation Department (CID) brought accused Muhammad Dawood alias Waleed before West Judicial Magistrate Afzal Roshan. The accused confessed his involvement in the 2010 suicide attack at the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine and the 2011 Seaview blast.
Dawood, who, according to police, is a militant of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), was arrested from Mochko during a raid. CID officials told the court that the accused was also involved in Advocate Mukhtar Bukhari’s murder, seeking further physical custody to continue their interrogation for arresting more militants. After hearing the officials’ argument, the magistrate ordered extension of Dawood’s remand until February 8.
Another sad incident and i think that improvised explosive devices were used yet again. We still haven't tackled this issue nor are we having any debate on it.
