It is a blemish on our judicial system that we are not able to prosecute powerful and influential but accused people. The Supreme Court verdicts are flouted and dishonoured in the form of non-compliance.
A letter has got to be written for opening the Swiss cases. This matter has been overly sensitised and made controversial. The executive is adamant not to implement the verdict. It is a simple matter of honest and decent conduct. This is yet another example of federal government’s attitude.
How can we eliminate and eradicate corruption from our society, if we cannot open the Swiss cases pertaining to corruption and money laundering by the head of the state? NAB has also failed to prosecute scandalous cases involving corruption of millions of rupees by government officials. We need to appoint a neutral and honest chairman. The government should expedite this matter.
