Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested six drug traffickers and recovered hashish, heroin and pistol from them.
According to a spokesman, Shehzad Town Police in two separate raids arrested Sadiq and Arif Hussain, and recovered four kilogrammes of hashish. One of the accused, Sadiq, was arrested from Sohan, while Arif Hussain was nabbed from the Makhwal area.
Moreover, the Aabpara Police arrested a person and recovered 110 grams of heroin, while the CIA seized 12 bottles of liquor from a car during search in Sector F-6 and arrested the drive, identified as Riaz. Meanwhile, ASI Muhammad Anwar from Margallah Police Station impounded a tempered car (LLU-468), while Sub-Inspector Munir Hussain from Shehzad Town Police Station recovered a 30-bore pistol from Pervez. Police have registered cases against all the accused and further investigation is underway for revelations.
