Pakistani senators asked India on Tuesday to amicably resolve all outstanding issues with Pakistan, including the core issue of Kashmir, amidst calls for peaceful coexistence and improving bilateral relations. A delegation of Indian Lok Sabha members visited the Parliament House and briefly witnessed the proceedings of the house. The delegation was welcomed by the Senate chairman, the leader of the house and members from various political parties. Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Prof Khurshid Ahmad said that a cordial relationship between the two countries was necessary but core issues which could affect ties should not be sidelined and must be resolved first.Senator Raja Zafrul Haq said India must resolve the issues of Kashmir, Sir Creek and Siachin, besides settling water disputes with Pakistan.
