Perhaps, we do not consider trees to be living beings, else we would not be cutting them down so mercilessly. We, the Pakistanis, don’t give much thought to the consequences of our actions. Apart from losing valuable natural resource in the form of trees, we are also causing severe disturbance in the environmental balance, leading to global warming, increased temperature, acidic rains and more carbon dioxide in the air.
We must shun such practices and try making this world a better place to live in and move around, both for us and the generations next.
