The recent increase in oil, CNG and LPG prices has sent turmoil across the entire population of the country. As a major portion of our energy needs are fulfilled by using fossil fuel, the prices of almost every commodity and amenity is sure to go up. I don’t know why the OGRA and gas authorities are unable to handle the situation and provide relief to the public. They should resort to importing gas from Iran right away, without wasting any more time.
CNG loadshedding should be handled on a more fair and just manner. Instead of providing gas to the domestic users, the industries should be the top priority as without them working at their best, there is no chance of having a functioning economy. And without economy, there is no chance of making progress.
