Theories needs to be combined, tested and challenged in order to adapt to suit local and personal environments.
New theories and technological advances based on learning experiences can help teachers to provide a justification and to build a repertoire to help deal with the unexpected, identify problems, improvement and so forth.
This was the crux of a research paper presented by Umme-Laila, Assistant Professor of the Computer Engineering Department at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) at the 6th International Conference for Internet Technology and Secured Transactions held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
According to a statement issued SSUET on Sunday, it was the Higher Education Commission that supported the professor to present her research paper at the conference through financial grant to meet her entire expenses for participation in the moot.
The research paper of Umm-e-Laila provides comparative analysis of well accepted practices of monitoring and debugging techniques, which are based on human computer interface to reduce troubleshooting cycle.
With recent advancement in communication technology and introduction of portable hand held devices, the vista of data networks has grown tremendously and most switches and routers now come with a built-in internetwork operating system.
Commending the usefulness of the paper, SSUET Chancellor ZA Nizami appreciated the professor’s efforts and pointed out that the university provides a research-friendly environment, which has led to the faculty members’ complete involvement in research activities.
He said that SSUET has made substantial allocations in its budget for carrying out research activities at the university and to facilitate the faculty members.
