Turkey has strongly condemned the recent bombing in Pakistan’s northwest town of Jamrud, which killed over 30 people and wounded dozens others.
“Turkey learned with deep sorrow about the killing of individuals in the blast in Jamrud of the Khyber region on January 10,” the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
“We strongly condemn this terror incident that targeted Pakistan’s stability, and wish God’s mercy on those who died, and speedy recovery for those wounded, and we offer condolences to the families of the victims,” the statement said, adding Turkey shares the pain of the brotherly Pakistani government and people.
The ministry said that Turkey will continue its support for Pakistan in counter-terrorism.
