Zardari evolves consensus on early elections

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) evolved consensus among ruling allies over early general elections.
A meeting of the PPP with its coalition partners, held at Aiwan-e-Sadr with party Co-chairman President Asif Ali Zardari, in chair, discussed host of issues including fresh polls and establishment of new provinces, a private media TV channel reported on Friday.
According to media reports, the meeting held at the Presidency aimed at creating consensus amongst the coalition partners over the holding of early polls and formation of new provinces.
An effort is also being made to iron out differences between the ANP and MQM and leaders from both parties have expressed their grievances.
The parties participated in the meeting were PML-Q, ANP and MQM. The PPP leaders were also present in the meeting.
Spokesperson Farhatullah Babar said the meeting discussed the current political situation and was attended by Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Asfandyar Wali, Senator Haji Muhammad Adeel, Senator Mir Israrullah Zehri, Dr Farooq Sattar, Senator Babar Khan Ghauri, Munir Khan Orakzai, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Senator Dr. Babar Awan, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Ms. Mehreen Anwer Raja and Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar.

  1. It is all about "who gets how much share" as opposed to solving issues faced by common people. These people are the curse on this country. I am not sure how they go to bed and sleep every night knowing that they have done nothing but sucked the blood of people and raped the motherland.
